April 2026 Communique: Faith, Diligence, and Global Updates

A Spirit of Power, Love, and a Sound Mind In this SCEE April 2026 update, we reflect on Paul’s second letter to Timothy. Paul wrote from a place of spiritual urgency, recognizing that Timothy was facing a season of fear.

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." — 2 Timothy 1:7

When we feel the "sour taste of quiet fear," we must remember that God provides His actual power. By "stirring up" our spiritual gifts, we find the strength to lead with integrity and serve our students effectively.

Academic Integrity: A.C.E. and Learning Gaps

As part of our SCEE April 2026 mission to maintain excellence, we are addressing the increase in schools bypassing Diagnostic Testing. While A.C.E. is accelerated, it is built on mastery learning.

  • Sequential Learning: Skipping PACEs creates foundational gaps.

  • Diagnostic Testing: All new students must be tested and placed at their performance level.
